dear people :)

hmmm post-syf, i just thought i'd like to share my perspective as an oldie :)

having gone thru 3 syfs, you can be sure that i know how you guys feel. it seems like the same story: we work really hard to attain the goal we set. and it would be for the seniors, whom we loved and who entrusted us with the sacred task of bringing glory to the band/choir :) i must admit, i would be one of those "stupid" people who cried in sec4 cos we got gold and didn't get into the top 5 (there weren't those honours stuff then..). but well, it is the same thing, basically we fell short of what our seniors expected and what we had aimed for.

but after all the tears before, during and after syf, i have new thoughts as i reflect now as an almost 22- year old. i think after all has passed, we won't remember the medal we got, and seniors won't blame us (honestly, i don't think i would blame my juniors). but a good 6 years later, i still remember the joys and laughter in the process of working for syf. trust me, the tears would fade into the background :)

i think what is so special about music ccas, is music itself. it has the power to bond the group together. every band/choir definitely put in their best. but as my jc conductor said (and something i still remember), music is like food. each band/choir may present different kinds (duck rice, chicken rice).. well no one can say whether chicken or duck is better.. but different people would naturally have different tastes. the judges are not perfect, and surely these fallible judges would not always make the right decisions.

but take heart :) our God judges our hearts and He is a perfect judge. Jesus understands how we feel :)

What goes around comes around

k, so ive gotten a C for my 2.4km and im pretty pleased about it, but whats the point of being happy :

- There was quite a lot of crying today
- people ran, people cried
- I got scolded yesterday..(well it was pretty much my fault and i admit it)
- I got scolded today FOR NO REASON
- My close frens are being punished heavily when the "offence" they allegedly had committed is like so trivial.
- pretty much of our class's reputation is going down the drain
- and so is our future

therefore, week = negative infinity/10

Lessons i have learnt these few days:
1) If your teacher is gay (i promise mine really is cause we have evidence anyway), never try defending for yourself. Instead shutup and apologise.
2) If your gay teacher is feeling pmsy, dun piss him off

OHYA i almost forgot to add... our school switched off the whole flushing toilet system thing today... so we like had to do our business and not flush!
The toilet bowls were clogged up with tissues, and possibly faeces and occasionally, it makes this gurgling sound and regurgitates a little...
:P our school is super extreme, even if its nature week, also no need to conserve until kill us with the CHAO JI SUPER STINKY STENCH

i hereby conclude that im lucky to be alive and to have survived 2.4

i had a sad week.
n i will rate my week in advance.

FREE CONE DAY <3333

LaLaLa... Im super happy today <333

NEEDLESS TO SAY, my good mood is largely attributed to the fact that i got a free cone (ernie i know what u are thinking, free cone = cone PLUS icecream) at BEN N JERRY'S on FREE CONE DAY :DDD

i feel the need to spread my joy.. since everyone's sa is like coming around the corner

ANYWAY, the queue was super long but it moved pretty fast, so i got iceream in about 15min :DDD

i wanted to queue again but my fren wanted to go home alr :P
but whatever, im still HIGH!!!
plus school wasnt that bad today, soooo ill rate it a 20/10 :D

Tomorrow is good friday.
I feel that we should make use of this day to remember how jesus christ had died for us. =)
